On this treeless site, the design of this mixed use addition takes inspiration from its bungalow form and street's namesake, Rosewood, an ornamental and shade tree. New 'tree' forms will shade and frame the existing house below and support the addition above.  Swings will hang from the 'trees' and interaction with the building will be encouraged through design, in memory of the previous owner, Onie B. Connoley, a neighborhood activist and athletic instructor at Kealing Junior High.
